Bottle at home. Darker orange to amber color, full sized white head. Aroma is malts, yeast a bit, slight tart. Flavor is malts, light caramalt notes, soft distant tart, moderately bitter. Decent to medium nody and carbonation. Not bad.

Draught No head. Clear orange-copper beer. Citruspeel, citrusextract upon farmyard/horseblanket (if mild). Dry, oranges, C-hops, but very mellow. Further horseblanket/farmyard and other rather fruity flavours. Light, undercarbonated. OK, but I cannot find the Cascade a real gamechanger.

No carbo, thinnish bod. Med sour, light tart. Light pink pepper, med-high horsey barnyard. Good, but lacking carbo and a bit boring.

Thinnish bot, light-low carbo. Med-light sour, light tart. Light funk, pleasant, but kinda faint. Light earthy, grassy, not much in terms of classic cascade character. Good, but a bit boring.

0.75 l can from 'Rebelbeercans', 2023 vintage, bottled in October 2023. A little hazy, very deep ruby with a thin, slightly fluffy, quickly diminishing, pinkish white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, rather fruity, slightly funky and a little vinous aroma of sour cherry, bitter almond, oak, elderberry and blackcurrant. A little sweetish, gently sour, rather fruity, slightly funky and a little vinous taste of sour cherry, blackcurrant, elderberry, lemon, oak, bitter almond and light horse blanket, followed by a medium long, gently tart, fairly woody-dry finish. Medium body, gently astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Very well-balanced, elegant and sophisticated lambic, maybe the best of the brut beers from Oud Beersel.

The pine infusion is really potent, in your face. The bretta still comes through, but the pine buds really take over here. Pours golden without much head. Very bitter. Not sure I'm a fan of this. It's better than the Gluhkriek, but not great. Tap at Churckey.
