Bottle, 6%. Good sour aroma with a hint of mold. Hazy copper colour. Big stable white head. Good sourness in the flavour, lemony and sharp. Quite clean flavour with a hint of fruity sweetness. Ends on a very dry note, reminding me of aspartam. Slightly high carbonation. 8 3 7 3 16

Bottled at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. (served by the brewer of Oud Beersel.) A clear, golden beer with a white head. Quite sweet and hoppy nose, with something reminding me ot a pilsner present. Sugar, hops, alcohol, salt and some notes of hay in the flavor. A full-bodied beer with a warming finish. Sugar and some hay as well in the finish. Decent, but nothing remarkable about it. (070103)

Bottled at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. (37,5cl corked bottle, served by the brewer of Oud Beersel.) A clear, candy-red beer with a pink head. A quite weak and a bit boring aroma with cherries leads to flavors of cherries, and both sourness and sweetness. It’s quite balanced and has an astringent and sligjtly warming mouthfeel. The finish is long, and lightly sweet. A quite nice beer. (070103)

It has a dryish aroma with apples, sourness and barnyard. The flavor is very nice, with apples, sourness and notes of barnyard. Astringent, medium mouthfeel and a long sour finish. Apples and other fruits too. Medium, dry and effervescent. Citrusy, barnyard finish. A really pleasant one, even though it’s not among the very best. As it’s available in Norway, I drink this one rather frequently, so it’s definitely not bad. 101009

Tasted at Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Gold, thin, lacing head. Lightly sweet aroma, and the taste is malty with fruit and some sweetness. On the dry side of tripels like Westmalle. Well carbonated.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Sour fruits and yeast. Acidic footsweat along with sour fruits and acidicness. Flavour is quite the same, and is a very superdry thing. Some slight metallicness showing also, yet it is very wellbalanced. Hardcore thing.

Bottled (Thanks mabjork!). Murky reddish brown colour with big pinkish head. Aroma is sour cherries and earth. Earty and very sour hints in the flavour, the cherries come stronger in the finish and aftertaste.

Muddy red beer with a small (but lasting) pink head. It has more barnyard-hay-earth-leather in the nose than cherry, which to me is a good sign, but it isn’t very intense. Tart acidic flavour with cherries and grapefruit. I don’t recognize the description below, I think this is quite far from the winegum krieks I know.

Thin offwhite head. Hazy yellow body with vigourous carbonation. Hoppy metallic wooden barnyard aroma with tropical fruity notes. Dry-sour barnyard wooden grainy lemony taste with metallic peppery fruity notes. Thin, sharpish mouthfeel. Dry lemony wooden aftertaste with mineraly winter apple and wax notes. Faint barnyard throughout. Amazing harmony, even if the beer in some respects sharp and harsh.. (0.355l bottle from Ole R. Original rating from an old bottle bought in Cambridge. Rated a third time from wine monopoly, then a fourth.)

Bottle: Poured golden amber with white head. Vegetables, earthy, and spice aroma. The taste was tangy and bitter taking away from the aroma.
