Keg at the Imperial - Leicester Square, London. Pours brown with a creamy tan head. It’s a very basic porter, with charred biscuit charred biscuit being the dominant characteristic. There are secondary notes of light metal and cocoa. Light bodied with average carbonation. Drying on the finish. So so.

Cask @ The Sportsman, Huddersfield. Very dark reddy-brown with a creamy head. Has crisp dark malts throughout its character, although not too flavoursome.
