Description
Our current kit can produce up to 20 brewer’s barrels, depending on the beer and how heavily hopped it is. We have 10 fermentation vessels, with the most recent additions being oversized to allow double brews of our more popular beers. Having started as a one-man operation, the business has slowly expanded to the current team of eight as demand, production, brew house and premises size have increased.
We put a premium on quality and consistency, which means monitoring the beer at every stage of the brewing process and beyond. Much of our equipment, i.e. our keg washing & filling machine and our bottling machine, were chosen with this in mind.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 2/05/2012. Pale gold with a slight white head. Aroma of gooseberry and lime with a touch of creamy malts. Flavour had some acidic, citrus fruits, cereal malts and a long, bitter finish. Good, but this wasn’t served in the best condition - it was slightly tired.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London on 10th April 2012. Deep ruby with thin off-white, dot-lacing head. Rich malty aroma with biscuit notes. Superb malty liquid - shortbread and fresh-baked cakes, bitter chocolate and berries. Very balanced rounded finish with sweet fruitiness. Engaging mouthfeel with plenty of body. Loved it.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 29/04/2012. Jet black with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of plain chocolate, grassy hops and a touch of dark fruit. Full mouth feel, with more chocolate, roasted malts, a hint of caramel and a dry, hoppy finish. Excellent.

Bottle from Grape & Grind, Bristol. Deep orange in colour with a slight blush, caused no doubt by the beetroots added to the brew, and a decent white head. Big aroma of citrus fruit and pineapple with a hint of pine. Flavour had some solid, slightly sweet malts, lots more fruit and ended with a powerfully dry finish. Excellent all round.

On tap at the Craft. Opaque dark brown - black beer. Small and short lived tan head. Smooth rich dark malt. Very tangy with quality coffee. Nice dark fruits ride alongside - prunes, tart plum and a whisper of cherry, Semi dry finish with more tart fruits lingering in the aftertaste. Really like the contrast of the smooth rich dark malt and coffee and the tart fruits. Nice one Arbor!
