Poured up on tap at the brewpub/brewery where it exhibits a murky hazy copper gold body that supports a thin off white head of foam. The aroma offers up a fair dose of fresh pumpkin meat and then wafer thin hits of pumpkin pie spices and tropical fruit. The taste delivers firm levels of fresh pumpkin flowing into a a thin sweet vanilla and tropical fruit sensation. This is balanced nicely yet exhibits a pleasingly bold pumpkin sensation. Strange yet solid. Fun beer.

Poured up on tap at the brewery/brewpub where it exhibits a cloudy near opaque gold to straw gold colored body that supports a off white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up spicy, floral, grapefruit and then mango like hoppiness. The taste delivers a blend of juicy, bright, bitter and softly tropical fruity hoppiness. I get bitter spicy to floral to grapefruit hops flowing into softer mango and honeydew. Nice.

Poured up on tap where it exhibits a deep dark chocolate colored body that supports a thin dark tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, nuttiness and then dark roasted coffee. The taste delivers dark roasted malts, some dark roasted coffee and a thin hit of chocolate. To midway and then lingering into the after taste is a dark roasted malt wrapped thin nuttiness. Nice full flavored low ABV beer.

Poured up on tap at Sleepy Whale where it exhibits a murky brown mahogany colored body that supports a thin near white head of foam. The aroma offers up plenty of bourbon soaked vanilla and spicy oak flowing into inviting molasses, prunes and dates. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of soft and boozy bourbon, molasses, vanilla, spicy oak and then a bit more booze. To midway the sweet molasses and prunes and dates start to surface just as the oak and booze do as well. Pretty darn nice. The aftertaste creates a nice booze, oak and molasses sensation.

32oz crowler pours with a nice deep dark body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma is pulsing with inviting dark chocolate, oily hazelnut dark roasted coffee and then a thin malt syrup sensation. The taste doesn't disappoint with rich deep dark chocolate sensation mingling with mouth watering oily hazelnut dark roasted coffee. Wow. To midway a brief vanilla to molasses sweetness is noticed. Wonderful sipper. Well done!

32oz crowler pours with a clear copper body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up plums, dates, figs and then a blend of molasses, blueberry, raisin, brandy sherry notes, a lot of oak and booze. The taste delivers smooth slippery sweet dark fruity esters amidst a bit of fruity brandy and molasses nuanced spicy oak. I get plums, dates and figs as well as raisins heading into molasses nuanced brandy boozy sherry notes. Behind all of the soft fruity sweetness is a thin sweetened spicy oak sensation. This is a really smooth sipper that thinned out a tad due to the barrel treatment.

32oz crowler pours with a nice dark body that supports almost no head at all. The aroma offers up coconut, chocolate, vanilla, candied oak, spicy black licorice and then a smooth blend of bourbon and earthy plum to date like port notes. The taste is like riding a tricycle when you get speed wobbles; it's all over the place. I get coconut, chocolate, vanilla, spicy black licorice and booze to start. To midway the barrel character begins to take hold with smooth candy like bourbon and thin earthy plum and oak nuanced port. The spicy earthy black licorice bark note could be dialed back a bit. Nice sipper nonetheless.

32oz crowler pours with a caramel brown to ruby red colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up plenty of prunes, dates and a thin note of ripe cherries wrapped in a soft caramel sensation. The taste delivers similar notes with sweet prunes and raisins drizzled with brown sugar and caramel goodness. It picks up a bit of boozy cherries and dates to midway. Maybe 6 mo. of age might blend and soften the sweet dark fruity esters a bit. Overall this is a nice English Barleywine.

32oz crowler pours with a nice dark mahogany colored body that supports a firm light tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The modest aroma offers up malts, nuttiness, dark roasted malts and chocolate with a blend of burnt malts and dark roasted coffee growing into the end of the draw. The taste delivers roasted malts, dark roasted malts and then some burnt malts and dark roasted coffee to midway. Behind the dark roastiness are murmurs of vaguely citrus, piney and spicy hop bitterness. Overall the hop flavor is a little too timid to balance out the load of dark roastiness this beer offers. Lots of flavor for a 6.5% beer.
