Description
Saint Somewhere Brewing Company is a brewer of traditional Farmhouse ales located in Tarpon Springs, Florida. We are a small batch brewery using only the finest ingredients available. Belgian malt and wheat, whole noble hops and open fermentation add to the complexity of our ales. Our beers are unfiltered and re-fermented in the bottle, not engineered, but truly hand crafted.

A hazed golden saison with a thick lacing off white head. In aroma, a smooth fruity and powdery malt with curacao, grapefruit pulp, and lichee. In mouth, a citrusy malt, Brett notes, light curacao, coconut, very nice. Tasted Nov. 24, 2012.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of rye malt, some dark spices, mild farmhouse notes, and herbally bready notes. Flavour is fairly acetic, with a chemical quality, rye bready, some balsamic vinegar, metallic notes, and loads of weird musty notes - very bizarre. Black saisons are usually a big miss for me, and this is one of the poorer attempts I've had. Not good at all - haven't been impressed by this brewery at all.

A nice amber saison with a thick forthy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light mineral notes, chalky, light flowers. In mouth, a sweet malt reminiscent of a biere de garde with powdery texture, a bit chalky, so-so. Tasted Dec. 24 2012.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a huge white head. Aroma is extremely spicy, with loads of chamomile, black licorice, some rosemary and black pepper- very strongly spicy. Flavour is very licorice heavy even though there isn't any of it, with mint, chamomile and pepper. Very yeasty, spicy and highly carbonated, finishing minty and licorice-y. Very bizarre, with extremely low drinkability. Flavours get offensive after not long and this ended up being a drainpour. Not good at all.

Pours black with tan head. Slightly funky aroma with some roasted malts and nail polish remover that seems to be in most fresh bottles I try from this brewery the past couple of years. Simillar flavors. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Iβll get another bottle and revisit it in a year.

750mL bottle, sent from Codysjb (thanks a lot, Cody), pours a hazy dark, dirty amber with a giant beige head. Nose is like a cosmetic department of a Sears, with perfume and chemically qualities. Flavour is very strange, with paint thinner, perfume, yeasty tones, and very dry dark fruits. Very carbonated, but fitting for the style. Not sure how this qualifies as a saison - it's a big chemically mess, though not entirely undrinkable. Not at all recommended.

Draft at Holy Grale courtesy of Tyler, thank you sir! Cloudy yellow color, massive white ice cream cone head, delicate lacing. Aroma of straw, white pepper, subtle espresso and barnyard. Coffee is slightly more pronounced in the taste, but still subtle enough, with a bit of lemon and black pepper. Unique.
