Bottle. Shared by suurjuust, thanks! Pours dark brown with light brown head. The head stays. Aroma is dark chocolate, roast, herbal. Flavor is sweet and bitter, dark chocolate, some sourness. Finish is roast bitter. Overall: good brew.

Sinful black color with a fine beige head that leaves some lacing down the glass. Coffee, roasted, fruity and grapefruit hoppy aroma. Medium + body. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness. Soft to average carbonation. Oily texture. Nice smooth flavor. Coffee, roasted, fruity, grapefruit hoppy and chocolate. Lovley tasty and blanced ale.

33cl bottle bought at the brewpub. Pours black with a moderate, but lasting beige head. Hoppy aroma with roasted malt, licorice, dark chocolate, citrus, pine and hints of herbs and coffee. Medium sweet with nice flavour intensity and good balance between hoppy and dark malty flavours. Nice and quite solid bitterness. Quite delicious BIPA!

On tap at Labietis, Riga. Hazy deep golden with a white head. Malty and fairly fruity aroma with hints of peaches and pepper. Partially gushing 330ml swing-top bottle. By the courtesy of Elisabeth. Spotty lacing from a remaining off-white head. Hazy, dark apricot coloured body. Grass and herbal hops on the nose. Malt-fruity flavours, caramel, forest, and berries. Mid-dry fruity ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Session xxxix with Stefan and Elisabeth, Tromsø 20.09.2014).

330ml swing-top bottle. Opens with a big shot followed by smoke. Firm beige lacing-head. Muddy apricot coloured body. Herbal hops on the nose. Mixed taste of brown malts, mid-sweet berries and herbal hops. Bittersweet endnotes. Medium to thin bodied. Fair enough (Thanks to Elisabeth for sharing at session xxxix with her and Stefan, Tromsø 20.09.2014).

30cl on tap at Labietis, Riga. Pale yellow with a white head. Mild hoppy and slightly yeasty aroma with some grainy notes and hints of herbs. Moderate sweet, mild hoppy flavours and some unpleasant elements too (something almost soapy). Drinkable, but hardly anything to write home about. VIVA Wakatu was better, but still far from amazing.

On tap at Labietis, Riga. Slightly hazy golden with a lasting, white head. Lots of tropical fruits in the aroma, moderate citrus and lightly malty. Moderate sweet and quite fruity with flavour of tangerines and a pleasant bitterness. 330ml tap at Labietis, Riga 20.12.13. Muddy brown body, with smell of wet grain, prunes soaked in alcohol and soap. Interesting in a weird way. Tastes chocolate, prunes, Norwegian julekake, chamomile, cereal, meal, vanilla, clove and gingerbread, but also some bitter notes.

330ml tap at Labietis, Riga 20.12.13. Hazy golden body, with small head and some lacing. Aroma citrus, resin, pea, herbs, sour hops and hint of urine. Taste boiled veggies, asparagus, lemon, sweat, coriander and hint of swimming pool. Chlorine, sounds a bit too hash, but it reminded me of the taste you get when you’ve been swimming and got water in your mouth...
