Roasted and sweet dark malty with notes of bitter chocolate, coffee roast, charred burnt brown sugar, nice body and mouthfeel, dry bitter and roasted finish. Flavourful and easy going stout.

Toasted and lightly sweet malty, some twiggy herbal hoppy notes, nutty accents, toasted grains, medium to light bodied, toasted malty finish. Decent for a “canned” bitter.

440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a big, short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty, herbal, tonka. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, sweet, sugary marshmallow, liquorice bitter palate and a frothy mouthfeel. Over medium bodied with lively carbonation. Didn’t really get the stroopwaffel.

Sim City was my sister's favourite video game in her formative years. Hazy golden in colour, with a crispness that seemingly subdues its tropical fruits to quite an extent. I'd still class it as a tropical fruit brew though.
