Bottle. Bit hazy dark amber to light brown. Cinnamon, earthy, thick sweet apple, bitter smokey notes, leather, oak, burned caramel. Solid medium sweet, light tart and quite bitter. Full bodied.

Bottle. Clear amber. Tons of sweet apples caramel, sour apple juice, creamy apple sauce, oxidized apple, dry apple peel. Quite sweet but also quite sour. Thick full bodied. Good!

Bottle (2012 but drank in 2021): Poured a deep golden color ice cider. Notes of sweet apple pie with some light warming alcohol notes and some residual sugar notes. Balance of flavors is fairly good with full body. Enjoyable ice cider without being overwhelmingly sweet.

Bottle sample, many thanks kraddel! Rather clear amber color with no head. Aroma is bratapfel, walnuts, sweet, some tannins, a touch red wine / glühwein. Taste is the same, tannic finish. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Solid!

Bottle sample at Mondial Des Cidres, pours a clear yellow with a large, quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma brings out champagne effervescence, crisp apples and light funk. Flavour is quite dry, with lots of champagne-like effervescence, along with crisp apples and plenty of carbonation. Funky and bone dry finish. Very good.

Bottle sample at Mondial Des Cidres, pours a clear bright yellow. Aroma is loaded with stewed apples, with baked apple pie and some treacle toffee. Flavour has a lot of baked apple pie and stewed apples, with lighter sweetness for an ice cider. Not as decadent as some, but it executes well what it sets out to do. Very nice.

Thanks to Kraddel! 375 ml. bottle sampled. Paler golden than usual. Nose is big on green apple, still big ice cider sweet, sugar obv. but there is also a clear sharp green apple note which cuts a bit through the sweetness,… Taste is the same basic sugar, flower, apple sweetness with a bright green sourer apple not on top. Tasty for sure.

Bottle from the Christmas market in Annecy. Pours clear golden amber. Aroma is rich, lightly spiced caramel, stewed apple. Taste mirrors aroma with an intense, rich, stewed apple character. Great slick, vinous mouthfeel. Another great ice (sorry, fire!) cider from this producer.
