Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle@Yesprs - Black pour with mahoosive beige head. Roasted malty and tropical fruity aroma and taste, some subdued fruity hoppy notes, some cocoa, caramel, piney herbal hoppy finish.

Bottle@Yesprs - Amber pour with big off white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of both citrus and tropical fruits, some nice grapefruit, peach, and tangerine notes, solid malty, some caramel and toffiesh backing, piney bitter finish. Good stuff.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear, golden and deep brown with a huge off white head. Aroma is roasted malt. Dark, breadish and roasted. Bitter and solid hoppy. Dry and bitter. Toasted dark malty finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is grapefruity and light herbal. Bitter, toasted and light fruity. Dry and bitter, slight herbal and bitter finish.

Bottle 330ml
Dark ruby color, medium-sized off-white head, some lace. Aroma is quite light and it has liquerice and toasted malts. Medium-bodied. Lots of liquerice in the flavor, some ash. Lacks typical fruity hoppyness of black ipas and is a bit thinnish for this ABV. No off-flavors so more or less ok.

Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some toffee and a big bunch of tropical fruitiness and sugar. Flavour is sweet tropical fruits, mild grass and some sweet malts to it. Smooth carbonation level.

Tasted from the tap on the 11/07/2015 at the Caminha Artbeerfest. Hazy amber color with a medium white head. Aroma of peach and vainilla. Taste is complex and balanced. Moderate carbonation and full body. Bitter and sweet aftertaste. Next one please!

Tasted from the tap on the 10/07/2015 at Caminha ArtbeerFest. Dark brown colour with a solid white head. Aroma of licorice, chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is lightly sweet and intense with presence of licorice and chocolate too. Aftertaste is dry and nice. Next one please!

Bottle from het Biermoment, dated 03 Jan 2015, large sample. Dark color, big frothy brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, licorice, blackcurrant, touch of oak and smoke, slight earthy and piney hops. Soft bitter in taste, quite malty, licorice, smoke, roast. Much more stouty and roasted than I’d expected, but not less flavorful. Lovely stuff.
