Bottle: (2014) Almost clear copper-amber with a dusting of an off-white head. Raisin, oak, caramel scent. Flavour is sweet...raisin, caramel malt. Brown sugar. Leafy/woody bittering.....mild, but warming alcohol presence. Very good.

0.341l waxed twist-off cap from 2008 shared with The Tasting Crew and our Kristiansandsfriends. The first twist-off cap I've ever seen waxed ... Looks nice also. Deep blurry ruby almost with a small kinda islands and sidesticking off-white head. Sweetish caramel and malty nose. There's raisins tones, burned raisins with oxidized traces in the back. Old bottle, but it works. Slightly burned in a way. Burned red fruits. Some alco warmth tailing this. Pleasant. 16.06.2014

Bottle (2014). Woody raisin, cherry, toffee malt, and hay aroma. Copper with small head. Moderately sweet raisin, cherry, orange, toffee malt, and moderately bitter alcohol and herbal hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Great fruity flavor - delicious.

Mooch tasting at Matt’s
Very pale color. Simple aroma of flowery honey, canola, reminds me a lot of German mead. Carbonated, moderately sweet, with flowery and waxy honey flavor, a bit fruity.
Simple but pleasant.

650mL bottle pours a clear hazy very light blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out subdued wildflower honey and some vegetable water. Flavour is extremely sweet, with lots of honey, some grassiness, and heavy sweetness. Not a whole lot of depth, but the carbonation really puts the sweetness into perspective and prevents any cloyingness. Very nice.

Bottle - Light citrus and grassy notes. Clear gold. Bright and sweet honey with some flowery notes. Pleasantly light on the palate and sweet. Very interesting in a good way.

Very pale. No head. Nice woody, honeyish aroma with alcohol notes to round it out. Touch effervescent. Sweet, with subtle wildflower honey notes. Soft sugars. Balanced with a lot of sweetness but just enough dryness in the finish. The palate is lively with that effervescence. I like it - good mead.

12oz via trade. Very hazy dark gold color. no head. Smells very fresh like a fruit salad, grapes, grapefruit, hay. Taste is very similar although there is an astringency in the middle here the leads to a honey like tree bark flavor. Very grape and apple forward up front. Unique!

Bouteille 650ml, bottle share. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka foncée. Arôme d’alcool, soupçon de sauce soya, Bourbon, bois, noix, malt torréfié. Goût de sauce soya, alcool, sucré, malt torréfié, café. Carbonatation faible, corps dense.

Bottle - Big hot bourbon notes. Jet black brown with a rich brown head. Dark molasses and Fudgy chocolate. Bourbon barrels are there, but not as big as the nose. Little boozy heat. I think some age may mellow it nicely.
