650 ml bottle (9.6% ABV): shared with minutemat on 4th Aug 2016: cheers Mat (and duffman). What a cracking beer to finish the tasting session on: really enjoyed this smooth tasty brew. Solid tanned head on the dark brown body. Chocolate flavoured bourbon in both the nose and taste, vanilla and mild coffee notes in the flavour too. A delight to drink and savour. Alcohol just about noticeable in the aftertaste, otherwise hidden by the rich body depth.

Bomber, shared with Blackhaddock in his man cave. Many thanks to Duffman for this. Pours dark brown with large frothy tan head. Aroma is prominent bourbon, vanilla, caramel, milk chocolate. Taste continues, with a sumptuously smooth chocolatey bourbon character. A great end to the evening.

Black color, small head. Deep aroma, dark malts and chocolate; cookies, a bit of vanilla. Good strength, lean, not thick; rich dark chocolate flavor, chocolate cookies, vanilla (from the barrel), malt, a touch of coffee; comforting warming alcohol.
Excellent.

Bottle @ Boon Burger. Pours a clear amber with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a decent amount of citrus that is supported by a growing pine and a touch of resin. Flavor is more pine forward with notes of grass and resin underlying as well as a grain backbone.
