Can courtesy of Peter, cheers Peter! Had this at home Sunday 5th June 2022 listening to REM - Automatic for the People 25th anniversary edition, we're cooking Chilli Con Carne and also Chicken Strips in Lime, with Red Onion and wraps. Pours gold in fact yellow with a white head. Tart tropical notes passion fruit and lime. Taste following the aroma route, it's very good for not being sucked into the heavily sweet and juicy cul-de-sac, okay there is a juiciness but it's a tart and tangy NEIPA, I get lime, Loz gets big grapefruit vibes.

65 cl bottle @ St. Mary's Tasting Aroma has sweet bourbon tones, vanilla and liquor. Flavour has Licorice, strong bourbon, woody notes and liquor. Quite typical bourbon-BA IS; works as a slow sipper.

A hazed reddish copper ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light peated notes, light bacon, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with smooth peated character, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. Still good for a beer from 2012.

341ml bottle. Pours a murky red-brown with a thin, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Semi-sweet aroma of caramel malt, oak, bourbon and dark fruit. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, toffee, raisin and oak in a dry, bourbon warming finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Well, this has been aging for 11 yrs, so I'm not sure if that's the problem, but I liked the regular version more. I found this to be less complex and with a thinner texture than the original.

341ml bottle. 2010 vintage. Pours a murky red-brown with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, raisin, plum, toffee and booze. Sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, toffee, brown sugar, raisin, plum, fig, honey and light spice in a dry, warming booze finish. Full body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Well, 10 yrs of aging hasn't hurt this beer at all. If anything it has mellowed out. Very tasty.

650mL bottle, pours jet black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out lots of oak barrels, harsh roasted malt, and intense hoppy bitterness to balance. Flavour follows suit, with intense roasted malt, some smoky whiskey, woody oak barrels, and a robust hoppiness to balance. Rounded, with an oaky finish. Excellent.

On tap at Half Pints, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, some coriander and restrained citrus hops. Flavour is quite estery, with lots of Belgian yeast, hay, and earthy hops. A bit muffled but it's pleasant enough.

On tap at Half Pints, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings estery notes, some spicy saison yeast, and floral notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with a lot of spicy saison yeast, floral and fruity esters, and biscuity malt. Spicy and floral, in a totally inauthentic way, but it's still pleasant.

On tap at Half Pints, pours an opaque cloudy dulled orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out pithy blueberries upfront, some vegetal notes, with a touch of lactose and a touch of citrus. Flavour reveals sweet and artificial blueberries, and a touch of lactose. The bitterness is there but without flavour profile. This isn't convincing.
