Tijdens de nu beruchte lockdown periode was Sven hoofd van microbrouwerijen binnen de Brewdog groep en woonachtig te Greenwich, Londen (postcode SE10). Het was een periode van ingrijpende veranderingen. Het idee om zelf een microbrouwerij op te starten begon vorm te krijgen. SE10 was geboren en de zoektocht naar een geschikte locatie was begonnen.
Was het toeval, of stond het in de sterren geschreven, in een pub in Greenwich had Sven een ontmoeting met personen nauw betrokken bij de Blikfabriek te Hoboken, Antwerpen.
De locatie in de Blikfabriek was beslist.
De rest is geschiedenis, of schrijven we toekomstmuziek ? Wie zal het zeggen, tijd is hoe dan ook relatief...

Draught White head, soon reduced to lace over metallic golden beer. Strong malt nose, intense 'beery' aromas, dry leaves, peppercorn. Sweet & dry at the same time, lots of restsugars. Again this leafy character, autumn raked. Hints of candi sugar, and lightly toasted caramel. Ends drier, spicier. Some light alcoholfeel, slick, mild carbonation. I find it a tad sweet for a 'tripel', to be honest. If the spicing would have been upped, the character might have benefitted.

Can shared at Belgian Beer Geeks Gathering. Very cloudy light yellow. Pineapple, oats, grapefruit zest, spruce, wheat. Medium sweet and bitter. Creamy medium bodied. Surprisingly good!

Cloudy beige blond beer, small creamy irregular yellowish head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely, lots of tropical fruits, dank and hoppy, a bit resinous, sweet impression, a bit sugary, ok, good stuff! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, hoppy, a bit resinous, lots of tropical fruits, juicy, a bit malty, good stuff! Aftertaste: sweet, tropical fruits, juicy, bitter, dank hops.

Pretty cloudy light beige to light blond beer, unstable, small creamy white head, non adhesive. Aroma: floral, citrus notes, tropical fruits, juicy, nice stuff. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity, citrus notes, some tropical fruits, floral, a little soapy soft bitterness. Aftertaste: a bit yeasty, very floral, a little bitter, soapy good but not great.
