Established in 1919
In 2010 the brewery is acquired by André Pecqueur the owner of the Brasserie de Saint-Omer and the Brasseurs de Gayant and the Brasserie Grain d’Orge merge. In 2016 the Brasseurs de Gayant move to Arques to a brand new modern factory, at the forefront of technology. It’s the birth of the Goudale brewery.

0.75l bottle, thx Ogi. Clear amber-golden body, off-white head. Prefumey aroma, floral, honeyish, vaguely citric, solid. Lean, dry taste, floral, lightly citric, mildly tart, vague honeyish touch, some bubblegum. Quite okay, just lightly malty. Solid, bit too dry, but solid.

0.75 l bottle, thanks to Ogi, who brought them from Slovenia, shared with Marko and him. Clear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is spicy phenolic, cardboard, hints of corn, hints of alcohol. Flavour is estery, banana, spices, grain, and alcohol. Light to medium body, soft to moderate carbonation. Dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a deep gold colour with a tight white head, plenty of hops and fruit in the aroma, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry bitter finish.

Fles 33cl thuis. Zacht, fruitig, caramel, licht kruidig, bloemig, lichte bittertonen, redelijk zoet, witte peper, wat mandarijn, licht grapefruit. (5-5-2025).
