Lys brun lett tåkete med beige skum. Lukter brød, blomster og bondegård. Middels fylde. Maltig, floralsk, søt. Smaker lyst brød, urter, blomster med noe sitrus bitterhet i avslutningen.

Bottle at the Airbnb from a Super U. Pours deeper copper with a white head. Nose is dark sugars, light esters, malts and spices. Taste is sweet, showing sugars, esters, light caramel malts and some spices, vaguely resembling rum perhaps. Medium bodied with soft carbo. Meh.

.0.33 l bottle from a French supermarket. Pours deep golden color with a long lasting white head. Hops and raisin in aroma. It has a quite strange, unique taste with hints of hoppy bitterness, resin and something that reminds me of a smoked barrel. Its label says it’s an IPA, it’s categorised as a Belgian ale and has the characteristics of an IPA. Wat wat.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma is mostly malt and grain. Flavor is also mostly pale malt, not much fruit and low bitterness. Medium body and a bit sweet in aftertaste. Has nothing to to with an IPA, more like a strong golden ale.

Bottle. Clear, dark golden body with a dense white head. Aroma is a bit herbal with orange peel, malt, bread and hint of phenol and alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt, herbs, light fruity and low bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste with alcohol. Not great but absolutely drinkable.

Painted glass bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with floating impurities and a rough, white head. Ginger aroma. Thin and watery body, dry vanilla accents and discreet, dry ginger accents. Incredibly thin - and fizzy. 100325

Bottle from Carrefour near Reims.
A: clear golden, quickly thinning, white head.
A: hand sanitiser, cereals, potato, cooked rice, brandy, leek.
T: sweet corn, cereal, white bread, liqueur-soaked grapes, cheap white wine, rubber.
F: very vague floral hops, cereals, boozy vodka-like alcohol.
P: light to medium body, thin oily texture, average carbonation.
It's not even the worst for a blue Monday.
