A deep dark lager with a thin lacing creamy mocha head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, light chalky notes, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, light acidity, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. On tap at volo.

A lightly hazed golden pale ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with piney hops, light cereals, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with piney hops, light cereals, light treacle, pleasant and smooth. On tap at volo.

Crisp, grainy and biscuity malty with some hay, grass, earthiness, hints of dry bitterness and strawy hops. Pretty crushable.

Crisp, sweetish malty with some floral notes, pine, grass, resin and hints of caramely notes. Old skoolish sweetish malty west coast IPA.

On tap at Birreria Volo, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Nose has orange rind, traces of diacetyl, and some candied citrus. Flavour has notes of resinous hops, candied citrus, and a bit of butter that throws this off tomorrow. However, my wife tells me this isn’t butter but just the way the hops are expressed. Regardless, this doesn’t work for me.

On tap at Birreria Volo, pours a deep dark amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out dry bready malt, a touch of dried toffee, and some earthiness. Flavour is very dry, with bready malt, dry toffee, and plenty of earthiness. A bit muffled on the malts. It’s alright.

On tap at the source. Slightly hazy orange, with a medium thick laced white head. Aroma is grapefruit, candied citrus zest, slightly dank, pine resin. Full bodies, lovely carb, medium bitterness.

On tap at the source. Hazy yellow, large white head. Big tropical aroma, sharp citrus, light cereals. Thin mouth feel, medium bitter. Very zesty, grapefruit forward finish.

On tap at the St Nicholas location. Jet black, large beige head. Huge roasty aroma, semi sweet cocoa, soy and coffee. Silky mouth feel, creamy carb. Medium bitter, creamy, chocolatey, coffee and light soy.
