We started out life as a cuckoo brewery at the end of 2020 and throughout 2021.
We’ve now set up our own small batch independent brewery in Tollcross, Glasgow and continue to develop our core range alongside our one-off special seasonal range.

On tap at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Plum jam, raisin & blackberry aromas. Plummy jammy taste. Lots more conserve flavours in the close.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light floral hops and white bread. Taste is more of the same. Not getting a right lot off this to be honest.

Hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma has a little bitter zest, hops. slightly earthy. Flavour has bitter, grassy hops with a little bread, spice, pine and that earthiness again. Very dry bitter finish with some crisp, zesty notes. Not bad, but I could have lived with a little sweetness for balance.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - murky golden to brown with a wispy white head. Nose - toffee and light pine. Maybe getting some earthiness which might be the mushroom. Taste - toffee, bready (a bit like a Dunkel) and a touch of pine and grassiness, but mainly toffee and bread. Palate - medium bodied, sweet middle, dry finish. Overall - not what I expected, didn't really experience chantarelle but enjoyed it as a west coast IPA.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden and hazy with a thin, wispy white head. Nose - dank, floral, custard and cake (maybe Panetonne). Taste - bread and butter pudding. Still something green and floral. Palate - light to medium bodied (fuller than the ABV suggests it should be). Nicely tapered finish. Overall - quite an impressive beer for the ABV.
