From notes: Bottle from an Eritrean restaurant Canal St Manchester. Nose was light cereal and herbal. Taste was thin light cereal. A bit watery. Fine for what it was.

Clear, golden colored, medium white frothy head, OK lasting. Aroma is of malt, caramel, some corn, bit strawy hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, corn, medium- strawy-grassy bitterness, bit cardboard. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. More caramel flavor than most other Ethiopian lagers. (bottle)

Lovely copper amber with a white head. Caramel malt, light raisin, a bit of fruit behind it all. Medium smooth body. Nothing amazing but an alright brew.

Shared bottle. Pours clear straw with a white head. Aroma of apple juice, grass. Taste follows nose with a bit of skunkiness. Not so great.

"The beer is light golden in colour with a small foam head that quickly disapears. It tastes fresh with a very nice malty feel. It finishes of with a hint of sweetness and some grainy notes. One of the better African lagers I’ve had so far." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Amber colour, thin head. Has a sweet caramel aroma. Super sweet, cloying caramelly malts. Fairly bland. It's basically clean, just simplistic and unbalanced.
