500ml Crowler Can, chugged watching a French drama. Hazy deep gold, frothy off-white head. Aroma presents welcome saison yeast, softly sweet. Standard saison yeast impressions to taste, falling a little flat with a relatively low carbonation. Hard to detect any barrel-aged influence and the apricot is hard to distinguish amongst the yeast. Doesn't really offer much else, in terms of spice or fruit notes. Fine overall, but lacks the punch of its Belgian counterparts.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from All Good Beer HD. Pours mostly clear amber-gold with a billowing, frothy off-white head. Has some light tangy funk about it, some golden raisins, a little musty hay, lemon peel, moderate saison yeast expression, earth. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Subtle acidity in the finish, more yeast notes, bitter earth, dried berries, citrus peel. Not bad overall.

Keg at Love Beer London. Sweet citrus aroma. Hazy yellow amber. Some white head, very little. Initial lowkey sour citrus. Light bitter edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick if thin. Prickly fizzy carbonation. Abrupt dry finish. Certainly sessionable, not particularly exciting.
