Description
First brewed in Summer 2014 initially based at The Warrant Officer, 318 Higham Hill Road, London, E17 5RG. By the end of 2014, they had relocated to share with Hops & Glory at 382 Essex Road, London, N1 3PF. In 2016 they relocated to Aldborough Hall Farm, Aldborough Road North, Ilford, IG2 7TD. In Spring 2021, they relocated one more time to the Leytonstone address listed here. Brewing ceased towards the end of 2022.

Cask at pigs ear 2019. A hazed amber coloured pour with a halo. Of beige head. Aroma is nutty. Belgian, apple, cinnamon, Belgian yeast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, meaty apple, wheat, brown sugars, some banana. Palate is semi sweet meaty. Sticky. Oily moderate carbonation

Rosemary and peppercorn aroma. Lemons and sherbet bonbons on flavour. Crisp and zingy. Some moderate spruce notes. Clean and well made. Excellent yeast usage.

Keg at Beermerchants Tap, Collabageddon ‘19, 15/11/19. Murky reddish brown with a light beige cap. Nose is tangy berry fruits, light barnyard esters, funk, toffee, light spice. Taste comprises dried fruits, prunes, spice, tangy red berries, mellow funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok sour.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours deep brown, nose is sugary, varnish, caramel, taste is similar, odd.

Keg at Beer Merchant's - Collabageddon 2019. Earthy aroma. Dark. Creamy beige head. Bitter. Coffee. Light. Slick. Abrupt carbonation. OK. Was expecting more depth to it.

Draft at Beer Merchant's - Collabageddon 2019. Dark ruddy brown with small beige head.Aroma is roasty, coffee, bitter. Taste is more straight up roast grains, not much else. Could have used a bit more of The Belgian yeast or dark fruit
