Description
First brewed in Summer 2014 initially based at The Warrant Officer, 318 Higham Hill Road, London, E17 5RG. By the end of 2014, they had relocated to share with Hops & Glory at 382 Essex Road, London, N1 3PF. In 2016 they relocated to Aldborough Hall Farm, Aldborough Road North, Ilford, IG2 7TD. In Spring 2021, they relocated one more time to the Leytonstone address listed here. Brewing ceased towards the end of 2022.

Can from Elusive Brewery. Pours almost clear golden with a white cap. Aroma: Belgian yeast, candy sugar. Taste: light sweet & moderate+ bitter, dry, lightly tart, Belgian yeast esters. Medium body with moderate carbonation

On tap at Kings Arms, 1/3 pint shared with Finn. Fair lacing from a next-to-clear orange-brown body. Smell of doughy malts, hints of dried fruits. Taste of caramel malts, dough and ripe fruits. Drying ending, short-lived. Soft on the swallow. Accepted. (London 15.11.2021).

On tap at Kings Arms, 1/3 pint shared with Finn. Decent white head leaving fair lacing on the glass, misty pale golden body. Modest smell of citrus, hints of yeast. Slightly tart fruity flavours, moments of lime, lemon, and yeasty fruitiness. Short mid-tart fruity finish. Fair enough. (London 15.11.2021).

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2021 - Hackney. Pours lightly unclear brown with a small, bubbly off-white head. Toasted grains in here, light sweetness, brown bread, a little earth, nutty malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation; alright condition. Moderate sweetness to finish, more nutty toasted malts, biscuits. Enjoyable mild.

Bottle from the ISBF21 box. Aroma is sweet and vinous. Opaque ruby tinged brown. Foamy white head soon thins out. Light-medium sour. Vinous and fruity but not pushy. Woody edge. Medium bodied. Slick verging on oily. Flat carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable if restrained... or relaxed perhaps.

Cask at the pigs ear beer festival 2021. A hazed burnt orange coloured pour with a small halo of off white head. Aroma is earthy grains, Fanta, ginger, galangal, rye. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, watery, veg, grass, watercress, nutty rye bread. Palate is watery, moderate. Carbonation.

Can ordered from Elusive. Aroma had sweet candy sugar and citrus, sherbert and yeast. Opaque gold. Thin foamy translucent white head. Medium bitter - dry fruity citrus. Tart. Yeasty edge. Peppery. Sherbert. Peripheral ghostly hints of sweetness. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Enjoyable - yes, a hoppy blonde.
