Bottle at omhper’s. Clear light amber liquid with medium white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, caramel, toffee, raw sugar, lemon peel and pineapple. Taste is very light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of pineapple, light grain, caramel and grapefruit. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Decent, not outstanding but not offensive.

Bottle with expiry date 08.2016. Black colour, small brown head that does not stay long. Aroma is prune, dark chocolate, grain coffee, a bit of hops. Alcohol does not disturb. Medium bitterness, no sweetness. Full body, fortunately not cloying, but definitely lacks smoothness, feels dry and a bit harsh. Is ok for a Baltic porter, but it’s not an exceptional beer.

Bottle at the NYE tasting in Beerville pub in Belgrade-Serbia, 31/12/2015. Pours black with a tan brownish foamy head. Nose: burnt caramel, sweet notes of toffee. Mouth: licorice, very herbal end, easy despite the ABV. Interesting!

Bottle at the NYE tasting in Beerville pub in Belgrade-Serbia, 31/12/2015. Pours hazy deep golden color, off-white cap. Nose: amber malts, a bit of a buttery caramel note. Mouth: East Coast oriented, soft carbo, toasted malts, fat too soft bitterness. Not terrific, well another regular (unbalanced) IPA.

Bottle (shared by fatphil, thanks). Pours golden-amber with whiteish head. Aroma is very sweet, caramel, malt, honeyish, citrus. Flavor is sweet, citrus, apricot, malt. Finish is sweet with some bitterness. It also feels bit watery. Overall: ok.

Poured from 0,5 bottle in a pub. Aroma of citrus and nails, in a glass rather mango (maybe as a result of mixture from american hops and distinctive caramel malt). As for regional brewery it is not a tragic beer. However it has nothing to do with West Coast IPA and is being sold with a price of a craftbeer. On the one hand we finally have some new beer from Browar Zamkowy, on the other hand it’s taste is completely contrary to the name. They should work on the recipe to make it much more better.

Butelka z datą ważności do 28.05.2016, temperatura serwowania 14 stopni +, szkło snifter. Aromat: Przyjemny cytrusowy (intensywna pomarańcza) , kwiatowość, fenole (bardzo delikatny goździk), o dziwo nie czuć żelaza (próba skóry też brak) - już się podjarałem że będzie dobrze( ale o tym zaraz), alk niewyczuwalny, generalnie aromat mieści się w tym co podaje bjcp, wad nie wyczuwam. Piana: biała, obfita, zbudowana z średnich pęcherzyków, niestety bardzo szybko znika opadając do cienkiego pierścienia, leasing brak. Barwa: blado pomarańczowe, mętne. Smak: Pierwszy łyk i żelazo jednak jest i niestety psuje całokształt, poza tym byłoby ok. jest wytrawnie, cytrusowa owocowość, goryczka kwaskowo-pieprzowa z takim cytrynowym finiszem smaki słodowe delikatne głównie pszenica. Wysycenie wysokie, treściwość niska do średniej, troch brakuje alku w aromacie i smaku i to nieszczęsne żelazo. Ładna kontra i kapsel. Jedno zastanawia jak to zrobili że w Żywcu którego piłem żelaza nie było (a jestem wyczulony) ?..

Bottled at Same Krafty, Warsaw. Hazy burgundy colour, no head. Milky tart nose with cherries and wine. Mid sweet with underlying tartness. Oaky red wine and milky sour cherries. Low bitterness. Concentrated, distinct flavours, but lacking depth.

Barwa bursztynowa, delikatne zmętnienie, piana biała, niezbyt obfita, dość szybko zanika. W aromacie trochę cytrusów, trawiastość, nieco słodowości. W smaku niewielka słodowość, z akcentami trawiastymi, lekko cytrusowymi, generalnie bardziej wytrawne niż słodkie. Trochę też metaliczne, czuć alkohol lekko, goryczka niska do średniej, zalegająca i ściągająca, wysycenie średnie, treść mogłaby być nieco lepsza. Brakuje po części wszystkiego. Daje radę, choć jest daleko w tyle za konkurencją.
