Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty notes, fruity hints. Mild bitterness. Finish again milder, but still okay. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

From tap at Brass Bar, Düsseldorf. Grainy malt aroma with straw and grassy noble hops. Light sweet, mild bitter flavour. Body is medium. Solid Pils.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is grainy malt with soft noble hop, touch of herbal hop. Flavour is mild sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium body. Drinkable Helles, bit sweeter than I like.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Nicely roasty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, caramel and a hint of tar. Good bitterness and mild sweet. Medium body. Roasty finish, solid drinkability. An ace Schwarz.

Bottle with swingtop 0,5ltr: Golden colored brew with an well balanced sweet bitter taste, its very crispy and malty. Very good Pilsener from the Ruhr-area.

Clear pale blond colour with thin head. Has a very nice strong taste of pale malt. Quite bready too.. Not too sweet. Pleasant mild bitterness in the finish.

330ml bottle. Crystal clear, glittering, pink-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. MInimally grainy and spicy, pale malty, grassy hoppy and fruity aroma, hints of elderflower. Taste is sweet-ish fruity, slightly strawy, pale malty and mildly bitter, minimally fruity hoppy, minimally diluted hints of elderberry, some elderflower. Watery texture, smooth and silky, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious and pleasingly (natural) fruity, highly drinkable, sadly with strawy interference - nice.

Optisch tief goldgelb und kräftig opaltrüb. Eher untypisch für ein Pils, aber das soll kein Problem darstellen. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone gibt sich wässerig-flaumig und gut haltbar. In der Nase dominieren brotige, reiffruchtige (gelbes Steinobst) und honigartige Noten. Im Hintergrund klopfen zart kräuterartige Hopfennoten an. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, weichrezent und sehr präsent, süßlich-fruchtig malzbetont, jedoch auch mit einer kräuterig-würzigen Hopfenbittere. Im Mundgefühl zeigt sich ein voller Körper mit sehr sanfter Rezenz, samtigen bis cremigen Textur und angenehmer Trockenheit. Geschmacklich hat man ein schönes Spiel aus Süße und Bittere vor sich. Aromatisch überzeugen reiffruchtige bis honigartige Noten von gelbem Steinobst und Nektar sowie passende, kräuterig-würzige Hopfennoten. Das Zusammenspiel ist unglaublich harmonisch und zaubert ein richtiges Trinkerlebnis. Trotz des Alkoholgehaltes von 7,8 % wirkt dieser Pilsbock sehr leichtgängig und erzeugt eine hohe Drinkability. Im Nachtrunk schwingen die fruchtigen bis honigartigen Malznoten sehr gut und lange nach und weichen nur sehr langsam einer immer kräftiger werdenden, grasig-kräuterig-würzigen und angenehm Hopfenaromatik mit moderater Bitterkeit. Fazit: Das ist Biergenuss auf höchstem Niveau!
