Now brewed by Litovel. A pleasant AF, but maybe a bit too much malt. Still not bad for an AD.

Can from Marks and Spencer, The Gyle, Edinburgh. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas are largely synthetic peach, but not too offensive. Taste is more of the same. Faintest malt note. OK for what it is.

Bottle. Black pour, beige to tanned head. Punchy roast malt aroma. Taste again very roasted with a burnt bitterness, coffee, semi sweet. There is a light fruity and hoppy finish and combined with a nice smooth mouthfeel it balances the beer more than I expected at first. Good.

330ml can. Misted gold with loose soap-sud like white head. Aroma of mixed citrus, pine, hint of guava. There is a nice fruity and pithy flavour, pine, good bitterness running through, some pepperiness in the finish. Medium bodied.

660ml big brown bottle. Brewed by El Prat Del Llobregat. Clear gold, quite fizzy with some minor head retention. Caramel malt, some sweetness, floral to grassy hops. Light to medium body, semi-dry with a touch of sticky malt on the palate. Mid to high carbonation. Despite having a touch more flavour than San Miguel I prefer the latter as it has more of a refreshing quality. Its standard lager at the end of the day so drinkability trumps all in my view.
