Train beer at King's Cross. Long day so had this with a pack of mouth puckering prawn cocktail crisps. Still prefer a Walkers cheese and onion. Anyway, no idea what this looks like as I had it from the can and the score gave the benefit of the doubt. Good taste with a malty thing going on. All in all OK.

440ml can from M & S in Jersey. Pours jet black with a good size creamy white head. Aromas & tastes of rich chocolate, coffee, liquorice & roasted malt. Medium body. Smooth finish.

Can at home. OK, this was number 3 of 3 of the evening, but it didn't work for me. Too sweet. Great texture, but the sweetness was too much. I don't do sweet stouts...

Can at home and number 2 of the night. Not a huge amount going on. And really disappointing. Drinkable, but in the words of Tom Gilbey (brilliant on YouTube, you have to watch) it didn't tickle my testicles.

Can at home at the start of the night and it was the best. Rich and well balanced hops with loads going on for thr abv. It disappeared way too quickly.

It is the worst porter that I drank in my life. It is not a porter but a bitter beer with some artificial chocolate aroma, watery, poor, 25.08.16, at Prélaz, finding this beer ar one ex mark & spencer, Paris.

Can picked up from M&S at St Pancras Station, London. Consumed on the 13:01 to Brussels, Thursday 5th March. Cannot be certain of colour as drinking direct from the can. Light fruitiness, not sitting particularly with citrus or tropical but it's ok. It's a bit drying towards the end, bitterness disappointing. The American Pale Ale is much better. Score: 6.4

Train beer at King's Cross. No idea what this looks like, but this is one of my favourite breweys and it doesn't disappoint. Complexity, mouthfeel and just lovely.

500ml bottle @ Benbow Quay, our last night before being sold. Used to drink loads of this by the can on train journeys back to Shrews from London years ago.. quick sip of Sophs for nostalgia. Definite Westons taste to it. Fair carbonation, artificial flavourings.
