Enjoyable overall. Interesting. A touch on the sweet side. Subtle roast, burnt dark sugars, a faint tangy note, some sweet chocolate. Velvety texture - rather nice. Sweet finish with accents of dark fruits.

Fairly muted but drinkable enough. Vague citrus notes, lean and semi-dry, sun-kissed pale malts. A nip of pine needle, rind, dirty straw. Easygoing.

An IPA that it is brewed on the English way, dominant side of leman, rather dry and herbal, a bit rough at the palate, hoppy, not floral, 31.10.19, at one mark&spencer at Paris, trying it at Epalinges.

A classical pale ale, on the English way, pleasant to start an apero, rather dry and grainy, hop, decently bitter, 19.11.19, at one ex.mark&spencer Paris, Faubourg Saint-Antoine, tasting it at Epalinges.

Can that Em gave me (from Marks & Spencer) - cheers Em! Dark brown to black with a beige head. Espresso and chocolate with a touch of liquorice. Very smooth, soft but full mouthfeel. Very nice stout albeit maybe a tad too mellow for its own good?

Marks & Spencer Commissioned Brews At Home Beer#3 of 3. Last up this evening a clear but very dark amber brew from Adnams. They've nailed the winter ale style here, which is fruity associated with the season, with a notable spice, has a light bitterness, and is traditionally designed by the brewer.

Marks & Spencer Commissioned Brews At Home Beer#2 of 3. Next up another produced by Northern Monk but with a lot more body than the session, as you would expect from a Double IPA. Regardless off the fair strength, it still produces heavy tropical fruit notes in both aroma and taste, infused with pine mainly in the latter. These are mildly sweetish. Hazy, on the lighter side of golden appearance.
