Can from M&S Leeds. Pretty beer, nice cold, still too much cardboard, but better than most supermarket lagers.

Pale amber in colour with a short-lived, foamy white head and lots of carbonation. Aroma of orange fruit, citrus hops and pine. Flavour began with some caramel, before the malts became more earthy, finishing off with large amounts of grassy, piney hops and a decent dry finish. Great stuff.

Amber with a short-lived, slight off-white head. Crisp malt aroma, with a touch of fruit and some grassy hops. Slightly sweet malt flavour with a floral edge and decent bitter finish. Good.

500ml bottle from M&S Camberley. Bright gold with a loose off-white head; citrus aroma; soft with a good bitter grapefruit flavour, although somewhat sweet; some bitterness to finish. Very pleasant.

Picked up at Oxford Summertown branch of M+S 26-06-08 Pours warm golden with a white medium head. Fresh hops come off of the nose and there is a slight piney note along with some citrus. Tastes quite soft in the mouth and maybe there is just a touch too much sweetness with only a thin edge of bitterness. This is quite nice but considering they used Chinook, Cascade and Willamete I’m surprised that they couldn’t have wrung just a bit more out of them to create an even better beer, still not bad at all.

2007 vintage; 500 ml bottle. Clean, lilghtly cooked apple aroma. Green apple impressions. Very pale gold color with some fine white head. Thin, but not watery. A bit sharpish in flavor - green appples? Rather refreshing.
