Can from M&S, Sandhurst. Clear light gold. Thick but delicate appearing fluffy foamy white head. Aroma has saline lime over grains and malts. It's the lime that dominates the flavour, over a malty yeasty core. Despite the salt it's just not that crisp, which is what I wanted. The lime is not bitter enough. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation is restrained. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Didn't do much for me. Too sweet.

Bottle from M&S. Clear deep golden body with a white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of grass and buttery. Flavour of grass, peas and white pepper. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This is a really good example of the style. This is much better than previous reviews suggest.

Can that Em gave me (from Marks & Spencer) - cheers Em! Black with a light brown head. Chocolate syrup, light berry notes and some roasted malts. Really enjoyed it at first, but it got a tad sweet and syrupy by the end of the can.

Seems that that German Lager is now German Premium Lager. Fancied a Lager on a hot day and wanted a London tick. Clear copper gold. Thick frothy foamy white head. Aroma has dull citrus, malts and a metallic edge. Flavourwise it's sweet with a citrus streak that adds some if not much bite. Underlying malts. Quite chewy. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Ultimately Quite bland despite an attempt not to be. Heading towards a Helles, perhaps.

In my opinion, it is a decent irish stout, easy to drink, roasted malt, coffee, a bit watery, lovely black color, 28.10.16, at Prélaz, purchased at Paris.

An average stout, good for the price that you get it, roasted malt, mineral, smooth coffee, hop, dry and pleasant at the mouth, 07.11.19, at Epalinges, purchased at one Mark&Spencer Paris.

Bitter, pithy & well hopped aroma.
Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with lively cloying back.
Pale malt, caramel, marmalade, resin & zesty citrus tastes with a tangy finish.
Well balanced EIPA - Good one from M&S.
