Description
In mythology, literature and many cultures, the Raven is seen as a culture hero, a revered and benevolent, transformative figure. The Raven helps people, blesses them with gifts and shapes the world. But at the same time, he is a frivolous trickster, a light-hearted prankster who is sometime gluttonous and impatient. The Raven as our totem works perfectly. We like to think we are creative, wise, playful and a bit bird-brained; just like those wacky Ravens.

Growler @ Armin’s house, courtesy of Azurescens. Thanks Dan! Clear golden appearance with a fluffy, white head. Pretty spicy, light clove, sort of husky wheat aroma. Well carbonated. Pretty rich bready, spicydull, grainy wheat flavor with notes of lemon and honey and a bit of tartness. Some acidity from the carbonation. Easy drinking and a nice summer beer.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours golden amber with a near white head. Whoosh! The aroma is so hoppy. Floral/resin/citrus/fruit. I think it’s all there. This must be a hop head’s dream. Med+ body. Flavor is very complex. I’d swear there was onion in this, over and above floral/resin/citrus/fruit. Onion’s a veg, right? There is some clean sweet caramel for backbone, but this is so hoppy it almost burns like capsaicin. Finish is almost cactus flavor with so much hop. My idea is that heat goes with cactus. Forget that. This is really complexly hoppy. Amazing stuff! Drinks fantastically tasty.
