Description
The first written records of the brewery in Černá Hora are dated 1530. In the following centuries the brewery was owned by different aristocratic families. In 1896 an agrarian corporation was founded which operated the brewery till it was nationalized in 1948. In 1996 the brewery becomes private property corporation with the name Pivovar Černá Hora. In 2010 the brewery became the seventh brewery in a row to become a part of the Pivovary Lobkowicz brewery group, the aim of which is to maintain the tradition of brewing good beer in Bohemian and Moravian regional breweries.

Clear amber with medium white head. Aroma is blueberry slight fizzy tablet and honey malt. Taste is bitter malty caramel with fresh sour citrus and a good blueberry finish. Drinkable. Bitter malty character. Slight sweetness. Experiment went well.

Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is yeasts spices honey forest a bit grassy. Taste is sweet honey with yeasty staleness and some oily bitterness. Medium smooth full body. Some artificial sweet remains. Not bad.

Tap. Clear deep golden beer with huhe white frothy head. Malty aroma. Grains and honey. Light to medium body. Sweetish taste. Well-rounded. Clean malts, a hint of honey, spicy light bitterness.

Bottle. Clear golden to amber beer with three finger tall white head of good retention. The nose is vague. Clean grains and spicy hops. Light to medium body. Hops-oriented taste. Medium bitterness. Lingering.bspicy hoppy finish. Good.

500ml bottle from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is grain, floral hops, grass. Taste is light sweet, light hoppy bitterness, malt, caramel.

500ml bottle from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours clear dark brown with a medium-sized beige head. Aroma is light roastiness, vanilla. Taste is chocolate, light roast, light bitterness.

Had this as Modra Luna Blueberry at Prague Beer Museum at Namesti Miru. Deep golden in the glass. Intense fruity-berry aroma. Starts malty, light fruity, not as intense as the aroma. More and more fruity like berries, bit artificial. Okay.

0.5l bottle from pivoteka u modreho lva, budweis, I believe. pours a cloudy amber with a frothy white head. aroma of blueberry, popsicle, caramel malts. flavour of blueberries, blackcurrant, leaves, unspecific bitterness. bitter finish. the beer underneath is quite boring, but blueberries do not taste too artificial, which is a plus.

0.5l bottle. Malty aroma, easty notes. Clear golden color, white head. Malty taste, yeasty notes, soft honey notes, medium bitter. Medium body, watery, but not thin texture, average carbonation and bitter, dry finish with honey notes. Good.
