Bottle. Color: Deep reddish brown. Taste: Medium sweet, lightly bitter, watery blueberries. Bittery finish. Medium carbonation. Like a pilsner with an added shoot of blueberries syrup. This one’s not for me.

Bottle. Color: Hazy yellow to orange, white head. Taste: Wheat, clove, mildly yeast, hints of pepper and herbs. Refreshing. Quite a delight after all those pretty same tasting Czech lezak, tmave, kozel and so on...

(Keg at Pivovarský Klub, 20160613) The beer poured deep golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had clove, grass and bitterness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were clove, banana, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. A plausible hefeweizen.
