Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and light tartness. Slight watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Coffee, berry sour finish.

17/2/2019. Bottle from the 8 Sail Brewery Centre. Pours amber with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops, fruit and berries. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, malty, fruity finish. Not bad.

19/1/2019. Bottle from the 8 Sail Brewery Shop and shared at the 2nd Kesgrave 50/50. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a large white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, hint of biscuit and honey. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a light tartness. Light body, slight oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Some sharpness to finish, and too fizzy, but very nice aroma and was quite enjoyed around the table.

1/12/2018. Bottle from the 8 Sail Brewery Shop and shared at the 1st Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours dark brown with a large beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and plumy/jammy dark fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and a hint of tartness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, above average carbonation. Light plum finish. Too fizzy, otherwise pretty decent.

Bottle from Mark. Pour is normal for the style. Aroma is roadty, but hints at some out of place sweetness. Sure enough, the taste comes in sugary sweet, like a cola. Sticky, dry bitterness lingers.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers!]. Slightly cloudy, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy and sweet-ish, minimally biscuity (Butterkeks), pale malty aroma, notes of gooseberry, minimally dusty, yeasty overtones. Taste is dry, slightly fruity hoppy, pale malty basis with subtle sweetness and a biscuity touch (Butterkeks again), hints of gooseberry. Quite simple and monotonous.

24/10/2018. Cask at the 41st Norwich Beer Festival. Pours clear bright dark gold with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, sweet malt, caramel, flowers and fruit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Pretty good.
