500ml bottle from Beers of Europe: BB Feb 16. Poured into one of their own pint glasses at home on 10th Jan 16. Slight haze to the light golden body even though I saw no sediment leave the bottle, on top a deep foaming blanket, off-white in colour. Hoppy and bitter, a bit too much like beer from a ’home brew kit’ for my liking. Yeasty feel to the bitterness and almost sour in the finish, might have been better fresh rather than three weeks before it’s BBD.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy pale gold with a medium-sized white head. Aromas of lemon, faint sherbet. Taste is light set malt, more lemon bitterness. Thin finish.

Bottle shared at Cafe Abseits - Bamberg. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Good stuff, some melon, ripe citrus fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Some flinty minerals in the finish, rindy bitterness, light sweetness. Decent stuff.

Hazy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and minerally crisp. Light malts, a bare whisper of smoke. Hops bring a kind of citric orange, but it’s slightly to the left of being the flavour. Lightly skewed floralness. Mild lemon sherbet underneath. Crispy finish. Mild bitter linger. Bright and interesting.

500ml bottle from Rwal Ale Store, Newark. Murky gold colour with a thin white head. Aroma is yeasty wheat and fruit. Taste a touch sourer than I expected. But has a refreshing citrus hit. Ok.
