Dullish gold, just a slight haze, has a fairly high continental hop quotient. Decent pale malt.

Dark brown, dark red highlights. Thin head. Cocoa, some booziness as well. Kind of inchoate, a bit too dry and not complex enough. It’s decent but that’s about it.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Dark brown pour, initial towering head settles down to a persistent filmy layer. Boozy aroma, whiskey, chocolate. Taste begins with the whiskey barrel, strong, bitter, then sweetness, roasty bitterness, licorice. Some bitterness lingers along with a good amount of residual heat.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Dark brown pour with ring of beige foam. Raspberry edges out the roasty malts in the aroma. Taste is sweet and fruity, raspberry, followed by some dry, bitter roastiness

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy orange/golden pour, foamy head fades away to razor thin ring. Grainy aroma with light smoky notes. Smoke is a bigger player in the taste, campfire, wheat, bready. Threshold is growing on me with their Polish brews. Nicely done.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some herbaceous, grassy hops, crisp biscuity malt, and light vegetal notes. Flavour is clean, with bright grassy hops, herbaceous notes, and crisp biscuity malt. I don’t have much experience with Lubelski hops, but the hop expression isn’t particularly vibrant. Decent.

On tap at Bottleworks. Pours clear gold with a white head. Fresh grass and fresh hay on the nose. Flavour has fresh, damp hay, cracker malts; soft mouthfeel. Very nice.
