50cl Fles van Café Brecht. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Zoet-moutige pils, iets grassig maar net te weinig om het spannend te houden. Mist wat bitterheid. Drinkt prima weg verder.

50cl Fles van Brecht. Troebel lichtgele kleur, witte kraag. Ziet vrij bleek voor een Weizen. Aroma van bananenmilkshake, heerlijk zacht en romig, tarwe, hint van citrus. Smaak volgt, romig, redelijk zoet, vol, banaan, citrus, licht-bitter. Lichte tot medium body. Lekker.

Waldhaus Hopfensturm Selection, Fläschchen von Ambrosetti. - Satt goldgelb, klar; üppiger Schaum. - Nase ungewöhnlich duftig und fein hellmalzig-kandissüß, läßt an ein belgisches Tripel denken, dazu elegante, zart blumige und blaß zitronige Hopfung. - Antrunk leicht und duftig kandissüßlich-hellmalzig mit feiner, trocken grasig-zitrusfruchtiger und blumiger Hopfenherbe, die etwas leicht Parfümiertes hat, wie ein gutes belgisches Blondes. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang wieder das elegante Zusammenspiel von blumigen und blaß zitrusfruchtigen Hopfenaromen. - Unter einem Hopfensturm hatte ich mir ein kraftvoll-knackig gehopftes Bier vorgestellt, aber dies ist eine ausgesprochen elegante Affäre, sehr individuell aber nicht aufdringlich gehopft, von moderater Bittere und subtiler obergäriger Eleganz. Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts mild, not washy. Fine hoppy fruity notes, mild sweetness. Finish with some moldy hints, not too intense. Not bad!

330ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy hoppy, slightly strawy and grainy, minimally dusty, yeasty aroma, hints of protein. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty, slightly fruity, minimally grassy, bitter hoppy, minimally doughy yeasty, hints of apricot and lemon, a touch of protein. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well balanced, refreshing, drinkable - nice.

330ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally grainy and strawy, pale malty, minimally dusty and musty, yeasty aroma. Taste is minimally grainy and strawy, pale malty, minimally fruity with a cautious touch of mirabelle and apricot, a touch of protein, doughy yeasty overtones, some hop bitterness. Watery texture with a crumbly touch, smooth and soft, minimally dry palate, fine, foamy carbonation. Sadly a tad musty in the nose - nice Zwickelpils.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally strawy, grainy, pale malty and minimally floral and grassy hoppy aroma with a soapy touch. Taste is minimally grainy, pale malty with subtle sweetness and a touch of corn, mildly but rather plain, bitter hoppy, minimally floral-grassy, a mineral touch; decently lingering, mineral and minimally floral finish. Minimally oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very clean, excellent water must be used to brew this - above average.
