Well executed tripel from Palm Thick, fluffy head, buttery smooth texture, aroma of spice, hops, and hay. Taste mildly sweet and tart, butter, caramel. one of my favorites

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toffee malty, light phenolic and toasted malty. Caramelish, light fruity and toasted malty. Bitter and dry phenolic.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Countbeer. Pours a clear amber with a creamy, beige head. Sweet caramellish nose with a perfumy touch. Rich malty and toffeeish body. Gets a little cloying as there’s very little hops for balance. 150413

Draft at De Paas. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, light banana, yeast and light caramel. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

0.33l bottle. This is a bright cleat golden one with a huuuge and what I call everlasting almost fluffy just off-white head. Looks really nice in the glass, and the aroma? It immediately reminds me of a woody white wine! Green acidic and alcoholic grapes at first, but after a while when the head settles down a bit it becomes more a tripel. Lovely Belgian yeast and light candied sugar dominates. Some faint apply-fruitiness in the background. It's above average on the carbonation and gliding oily on the mouthfeel. Sharp Belgian flavors. You notice the alcohol - especially in the extreme heated sharp and warming aftertaste. More of this green slightly sour apples and light candied sugar. The finish has a mild metallic and grainy touch. Yeah, a nice classic tripel indeed. 07.02.2013

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Nice Belgian character - toffee, candi sugar, yeast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lingering toffee and brown bread. Nicely made cask Belgian beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Hilde but bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. golden colour with big dense white head. Fruity aroma with apples ans some graininess. Yeasty slightly sweet taste with more fruity tones. Nice bittersweet aftertaste. Good tripel

Flaske fra polet: tårnhøjt, hvitt skum. Klar&gylden. Aroma av stikkelsbær og rips. Medium munnfylde og overraskende tørr smak og ettermak. Lite sødme for en tripel, men det gjør den på en måte mer lettdrikkelig. Dog ingen benchmark.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel. Sweet, malty taste, giving way to slughtly sourish, fruity notes. Dryish finish. Rich carbonation. A rather anonymous Dubbelbut definitely drinkable.
