Bottle @ Johns, Pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma of malt, little vinegar, dark fruit, wood, little earth. Flavor is roasted malt, vinegar, balsamico, wood, dark fruits, cherry. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation, lighyt acidic finish. 170214

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Almost black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark fruit, wood and red wine. Flavor is quite sweet, moderate bitter and light acidic. Dry, moderate bitter and light acidic finish with a little warming alcohol. 170214

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are cherries, wood, malt, hops, soy, fruits and caramel.

Cask at The William Jolle (Wetherspoons), Northwood Hills. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, slight coffee. This was very nice indeed, definitely the best beer I’ve ever had from Twickenham ales.

Cask at The William Jolle (Wetherspoons), Northwood Hills. A red/amber coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Fruity, caramel aroma. Tastes fruity, caramel, slightly hoppy. Quite pleasant.

Cask at jdw tower bridge. Hazed golden pour with a lasting loose white head. Suptle nitty malt and English yeast eaters in the aroma. Flavour is standard English summer ale, bisvuity malt grassy hop with a solid bitterness. Medium light body. Decent.

Cask @ Le Gothique Restaurant and Bar, [ Wandsworth Common Beer Festival 2013 ]. Royal Victoria Patriotic Building, John Archer Way, Wandsworth, Greater London, England SW18 3SX.Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, caramel, light toffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, honey notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130330]
