Out of a bomber and into a big glass this stuff is simply beautiful, in looks. Thick rocky foamy head that builds even with the gentlist of pour. This head never fades and you must drink thru it. What else can be said about the flavors? Well, what else but big brutal IPA smacking you up the face. Experts can tell between fresh and old but all I feel and taste with this style is bitter Knasty Knellie. Co2 does make it enjoyable, nothing worser than an on style flat ipa. Yesh, that sizzling makes it grow on me. Finish is long bitter chewing on green grapefruit rines getting into the back of yer throat. Yes, quite on style with the flavor. Every time I think ipa is starting to grow on me, I get slammed back to reality with an on style example. Slapyou in the face, knock you in the head, kicks you in the ass.

From a bomber. Very nice bready aroma. Pour is rather foamy. Lots of co2 on the buds. Big beefy flavor is mellowed by the sizzle in this beer. Seems a tad wild. Yes, bitter fer sure with an alky kick but that co2 is kick ass. Foam continues on top of the beer. Lingering hop bitter finish for quite a while. Zippy.

Bottle from a Total Wine somewhere in Virginia. Pours a clear dark rust color with a medium sized creamy dark tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, nuts and a spicy finish. the taste is tart fruits, cherries, spice, faint toasted malts and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied.

Hazy gold body under a good sized white head. Aroma of citrus hops and light malt. The flavor is well balanced delivered by a spritzy palate with a bit of carbonic acid in the finish.

Yes, quite cheap for a bomber, $4 at total beer & wine in florida. Pour is not really red, just kinda brown and hazy, looks like cream soda. Nice creamy head. Smell is quite malty. From the first taste I was pleasantly surprized; could this really be over 6%? Hides the alky well. Has a slightly wild attitude about it with a mildly tart appeal. Some bitterness begins to build but it never seems to be too much for this lager lover. Yes, a fairly good overall taste that you can get to like. That wild tart thing really makes this brew happen. Pretty good sizzle. Did not expect this to taste like it does, not bad! finish does have this medium bitter thing in there but again the whole beer experience overcomes this one bad attribute. Interesting lacing on the glass thru-out the session. Goes down reallhy easy, yes very interesting indeed. If you like mildly tart beers that come across a little wild, give this a try. Looking forward to trying other beers from these guys.

Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. This beer is a hazy golden amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrusy hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of hops, grapefruit and sweet malt. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Above average overall.
