Pours clear gold with an average sized white head. Citrus and pine hop aroma. Well balanced malt sweetness and hop bitterness but not really anything exciting. Quite likely this needs to be fresher.

Bomber. Bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. This was supposed to be Washington state IPA #3 last night but I fell asleep, so here we go, a day late. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a medium cream-colored head with great retention; leaves decorative lacework. Aroma is pine, peach, cotton candy. Taste is sweet and bitter but maybe not as bitter as the other two in this comparison. Carbonation is average and the body is medium. Very solid; much better than the Fremont. Similar in quality, yet definitely different than the Iron Horse.

Sampled on tap at SIB, pours hazy caramel with a white head. Aroma of herbals hops, marijuana and citrus. Flavour is quite spicy (cinnamon, nutmeg), a little sweet chocolate (?!), herbal hops and citrus. Well-rounded but lacking depth / uniqueness.

Bottle. Hazy golden color, large fluffy white head, good lacing. Aroma of perfume, spice and light pine, like one of those air freshener things you hang in your car, only better. Taste is malty at first then smoothly bitter pine and light spice. Bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle from de Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Shared with Muhunthan. Amber pour with a reserved off white head. Piney hop and citrus in the nose and flavour. Quite possibly past its best and somehow lacking a real knockout blow. Decent enough IPA, but I can’t help but thinking we’ve got more than the match of this on offer in Europe these days.

Extra buttery butterscotch nose. Clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Flavor is still buttery, but to a lesser extent and with hay notes. Not sure what the point is with this beer, unless the brewer is trying to popularize a new style: Imperial Diacetyl Ale

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy ripe peach with a creamy near beige head. Starts a little sharp citrus quickly followed by mild roast caramel. About med body. Flavor is light caramel with some citrusy bitter. A light beer, but a good one.

22oz bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a pretty large white head. Aroma is sweet fruit notes, touch of yeast, mild hops. Flavor is okay, but something seems like it is "missing" in this one.
