Description
My name is Brett Moore. I'm the Head Brewer at Two Flints Brewery in Windsor and i've been brewing professionally for 8 years. Starting my journey at Beavertown Brewery where I got involved early with the Tempus project. I spent a few years there before starting the London Beer Factory's Barrel Project in 2019. I spent my time there brewing spontaneous beer in a coolship, wild yeast wrangling and refermenting on many types of fruit and foraged ingredients. I'm a technical brewer making many types of ales and lagers and have found Scatterlings to be my one true creative outlet. I design all beers to be balanced, easy drinking and approachable.

750 ml bottle, online from BEER:Shop, Hitchin. Pours light hazed gold with white foam. Light sharp, with apple & lemon saison funk on the aroma & taste. Quite delicate. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Craft Beer Junction bottle share. Thanks to Wingman for the bottle. A light haze on this paleish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, a light creamy sweetness. Saison herb and tang. A little lemon brightness, mildly ripe lemon. Light and semi dry finish. Decent saison.

750ml bottle pours a lightly hazy yellow with some frothy white head. Nose has some lemon, neutral oak, a little green hop, some green grape, light herbs, some grist. Lightly earthy. Really well balanced and in the flavor too. Light honey, some vinegar, some neutral wood, some Chardonnay but not overly, herbs, citrus peel. Finishes medium-low acid, dry. Well blended.

1/3 pint, draught at Mother Kelly's N17. Shared with Finn. Tiny white head, clingy lacing, hazy late straw coloured body. Moderate farmyard aromas. Mixed taste of saison fruits, earthy moments, and a touch of lemon. Mid-tart, drying finish. Has got some refreshing qualities. (Tottenham Hale,, London 15.03.2024).
