Bottle. Aroma simple chocolate roasted malt. Almost clear brown darkish colour. Simple taste, chocolate, roasted, fruity. Simple, good.

Bottle from Werckmeister, many thanks. Dark brown color with medium white head. Caramel, chocolate in aroma. Taste, chocolate, roasted malt, caramel.

Sampled from tap at a Stiegl pop-up store in Vienna.
Golden, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, white head.
Very fresh aroma of flowers, grass, fresh herbs, ripe fruits, slight barnyard, some spices, candy.
Tastes of fresh herbs, grass, flowers, spices, sweet malts and quite a lot of fruits.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes fresh, a bit bitter, floral, grassy, with fresh herbs and sweet malts.
Very nice, fresh beer, that indeed feels like a meadow in spring. I really like the fresh herbs and flower notes. Drinks very easy, pretty perfect on a warm day. Overall one of my favourite from the ’Hausbier’ line so far.

From 750ml bottle at a fair in Klagenfurt. Orange cloudy color, very small white head. Smells yeasty, grainy, smells like Krausen, also some underlying fruity note. Medium body, grainy / very bready taste, overall taste is quite limited, some dry / subtly bitter finish. Some underlying fruit notes develop after a while. Gets better on subsequent sips. Not too overwhelming but OK.

Shared bottle. Reddish brown with off white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Sweet milk chocolate, quite yeasty, brown sugar, very nice underlying herbal hops. Light side of medium bodied with watery feel and slight prickly carbonation. Not bad.

750ml bottle at home. almost black color, big tan head, smell of chocolate, light coffee, mulberry, very light smoky, roasty note. medium body, slick, light bubbly, tste of mulberry, light roasty, chocolate, light roasty finish. good but a bit uneventful.

DIeses Bio-Bier aus dem Stiegl-Gut Wildshut wird mit allerlei Urgetreide gebraut wird. Dementsprechend ist der Geschmack ordentlich grasig mit Kräuternoten und erinnert an manche Sommerwiese. Es ist sicher kein Bier für jeden Tag, aber ein aromatisches Erlebnis, das Freude macht ohne zu sehr auf den Hopfenkopf haut.

Das Bier mit dem Kräutergeschmack ist einmal eine interessante Neuigkeit. Das erste seiner Art, soweit ich weiß. Ob es sich durchsetzt wage ich zu bezweifeln, weil es doch ein sehr spezieller Geschmack ist. An einem heißen Sommertag ist der erfrischende Kräutergeschmack sicher sehr angenehm und daher kann ich es nur empfehlen
