0,33l bottle at Da Aldo Venezia. BB 30.12.2018. almost black colour, small dark coffee colored head. smells of licorice, milky, light earthy, light caramel, green peppers. decent smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes quite bitter, herbal, coffee grounds, charcoal, bitter herbs, light currant notes, green olives, rather alcoholic. finishes very bitter herbal with some roast and notes of licorice and green olives. rather weird for a imp stout, unpleasant (and long lasting) bitterness with some green olive notes. not a big fan.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Ariel T. 7.8%. Black with a nice tan head. Aroma of roast, coffee, dark fruits, a bit of alcohol. Sweet flavor, roasty, with chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, and a bitter and slightly burnt finish. Medium to full-bodied. Very nice.
