Little cloudy red amber beer, creamy dense yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, caramel, bit fruity, oxidized, some dried fruits, sweet grains. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: unpleasant bitterness, lots of yeast, some banana, bit spicy, cloves, grains, little grassy. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, malty, grains, banana peel, unpleasant bitterness, some sulphur, not very good...

Bottle thnx to the brewer. Pours black, lightly tanned , small to medium sized head with very good stability. Smell is creamy, mild roast from the dark malts, aromatic ( fruity ) hops. promising ! Taste is more sharp, robust dark malts and a relative strong bitterness ( still low to average for IPA standards ) lifted up by the malt bitterness. Aroma of the hops is far less than the scent anticipated for, but still present. Full bodied for the ABV. Very good BIPA.

Bottle from Monstermagnet. Pours very dark brown with beige, lasting head. Sweet liquorice, some tar, lightly smoked. Somewhat bitter coffee with a lasting bitter finish. A bit thin bodied and watery, but all in all pretty good.

Black with thin creamy head. Aroma and flavour pock up a lot of earthy , roasted malts. There's a lingering background vanilla sweetness. Also slight whiskey malt and liquorice. A step up from the regular version.

Black with thick creamy head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of heavily roasted malts. Also in the flavour some sweeter dried fruits. Rich, creamy well balanced 'everyday' Imperial Stout.

Niet heel intens. Je proeft vooral de barrel. Bourbon BA was beter
