Est. in 1989, Cambridge Brewing Co. is the oldest brewpub in the greater Boston area serving fresh handcrafted beer and food made with local ingredients.

1 Kendall Square brewpub's last day of service was December 20, 2024, as Phil Bannatyne (owner) retired. Brand was sold to Castle Island Brewing (Norwood, MA) who will produce the brewery's more iconic beers.

Tap at Cambridge Brewing, Boston Area. Color is slightly cloudy orange with very small white head Aromas and flavors: Ripe fruits, raisins, some hops and malts. Heavy malty backbone.

Draught @ CBC, Cambridge, MA. Heavy, sweet and oaky with massive amounts of malts, toffee, syrup, caramel and rye whisky. Sticky and sweet slow sipper.

Draught @ CBC, Cambridge, MA (rye barrel aged version) . Sweet, roasty and heavy with some rye, wood, oak and syrup notes. Heavy and sweetish.

Draught @ CBC, Cambridge, MA. Crisp, hoppy and grassy with some fruits, pine and tropical notes, hints of citrus. Pretty good.
