Ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a nice, albeit thin, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of grass, light citrus, a dash of herbs and flowers and ending with some mild yeast and bread notes. Light-bodied; Sharp grassy and floral note at first that has the taste of a light saison, with a sort of biscuity and almost specialty grain type flavour that shows some mellow coriander seed, yeast and wheat notes and more of the grapefruit and floral pieces. Aftertaste shows the softer, fruit-based and mellow grass side without much dryness, but a smooth, easy-drinking finish to couple with the floral notes. Overall, a soft and very smooth, easy-drinking saison that shows almost all the right notes that you'd expect from the style, just on an easier-to-drink and in a smaller profile. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 09-March-2018 for US$1,79 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, in Pungoteague, Virginia on 15-February-2020.
