From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy and slight toasted malty. Solid grapefruity to pinewood hoppy. Mild peachy too. Lingering thick malty and grapefruity hoppy finish. Nice.

Draft. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops and a bit of yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrusy fruits and malt, as well as a lighter touch of spices, leading to a dry finish.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Haze, gold, thin bubbly head. Very decent pils. Really good bite on the finish. Some lemon fruit, like all the US casks, just a little tired from the journey.

5th August 2010. GBBF.
Hazy gold beer. Suddy white head. No carbonation. Light semi dry palate. Watery sweetish orange and grapefruit. Finishes dry. Dissapointing - really wishy washy. May have suffered on it’s travels.

Shaker pint pour at the brewpub in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Pour is a murky brown with a smallish tan head. Nice coating lacing lines the glass as it goes down. Aroma is soft natural roast and bright pine. Nice integrated, fresh, clean nose. Taste is creamy roast malt along with the pine hoppiness. Palate is medium bodied, with a nice active carbonation and a crisp dry bitter finish. Straight forward, but really clean and drinkable.

Shaker pint cask pour at the brewpub in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Pour is hazed orange golden with a small off white head. Aroma is resin, soft muted citrus and mineral earthy maltiness. Nice expressive nose. Taste is softly bitter resin, followed close behind with the malty sweetness and light crystal malt. Finish is dry and bitter. Palate is medium, soft fine carbonation from the cask, clean finish. Nice one.

Shaker pint pour at the brewpub in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Pour is a light haze, copper golden with not too much of an off white head. Despite this, nice lacing left behind. Aroma is soft crystal maltiness along with a soft floral hoppiness – flowery resin, not bitter. The taste is the crystal malt right away, followed by a nice resin floral. Nice integration of flavor. Palate is medium to thin, lower carbonation, crisp clean finish. Nice one.

A dark porter with a thin lacing dark brown head. In aroma, superb dark acid cherries, Brett/horseblanket, ground cherries, and vinegar acids. In mouth, a surprisingly smooth yet intense porter with ground cherries, lactic acid, Brett, very funky and complex. On tap at brewpub, July 1 2010.

A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, sweet butterscotch and chocolate with light milky notes. In mouth, an oily chocolatey taste with nut spread, instant coffee, vanilla, not bad, but a bit cloying. On tap at brewpub, July 1 2010.
