A lot heavier than I expected but quite tasty,....mouthfeel is creamy with a spicy rye kick in the aftertaste.

Pours dark brown with a thin white head, lacing. Aroma of smokey notes. Taste has slightly bitter cocoa notes, some dark grains. Palate has lingering chocolate notes. Not bad.

Can: Poured a golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention with some lacing. Aroma of light citrus hops notes with some faint undertones. Taste is dominated by citrusy hops notes with some floral hops undertones and light juicy notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Enjoyable session style NEIPA.

(473ml can from a friend) Pours slightly cloudy copper-red with a thick tan head and some lace. Notes of caramelized sugar, brown bread, stewed tree fruits, light toast, some rather prominent banana-esque esters for English-type ale yeast, lightly to moderately sweet and semi-dry on the finish, lightly bitter with some hop notes and a little cereal/toast. Light bodied, below average carbonation. Drinkable red ale.
