Bottle from a trade with Grumbo, thanks! Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, cocoa, dark chocolate, hint of ash, touch of coffee. Medium sweet flavour with a moderate bitter finish. Body is medium with a slight creaminess. Solid Porter!

330ml draft into a bottle from lowcostbeer. Pours black with small tanned head, leaves thin top. Aroma of charcoaled malts, sweetness, earthy and floral hop. Taste is charcoal malts, sweet and tangy citrus, some earthy and aromatic hop. Medium bodied, fairly slick. I cant say I'm loving the purely deep roasted malt profile and would prefer some softer malts mixed in to expand the character. However there are some really nice use of hops here.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest Summer 24. Aroma has chilies and dark chocolate. Dark and oily. Tan head is foamy but thins out. Sour... fruit vinegar. The chilies adds a smoky bite but is not too busy. Underlying sweetness. The chili gradually amps up. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice. Not the chili bomb I was expecting.

Bottle. Rubyish copper colour with a small off-white head and some lace. Aroma is caramel, some floral, fruity, nutty and rye bready tones. Flavour is rye, some caramel, fruits mild nutty and a bit grainy tones to it.

Bottled. Amber colour with a mediumsized white head. aroma is pine, floral hops, some caramel and mild toffee. Flavour is pine, some floral tones with caramel, mild toast as well as some wooden notes.

Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nutty, coffeeish, some herbal and mild toffee tones. Flavour has a wee bit of alcohol, some nutty, roasted, toffeeish and mild earthy tones. Smooth and easy to drink. Quite pleasantly balanced.
