Fun flask bottle!...deep golden color with hints of copper...malty-ass like aroma, a very simple brew with a sweet characteristic...not as good as its packaging

Bottle. Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is nice hop with caramel. Flavour is sweet, hop, caramel, fruit. Bitter finish.

Bottled. Clear, golden bitter with a small beige head. Malty-sweet start, then some faint notes of hops and fruits reach your nose. The flavor is quite sweet, with some hops in the background and finish. A medium-bodied and a bit one-dimentional ale. Rating: 6-3-6-3-12-3. (070302)
Bottle, courtesy of tarjei. It pours a clear, quite dark golden body, topped by a small, off-white head. Weak aroma where caramel and maltyness dominates, and has company of some fruity and citrusy hops. The flavor is citrusy and fruity up front, followed by malt and caramel, and ends with a nice citrusy bitterness. Medium body. Nice and refreshing, but way too similar to the other St. Peters bitters. (081108)

A golden amber ale with a rich thick lacing off white head. Aroma of wet dough, treacle and grass. In mouth, a rather grassy malt, lightly sweet, with light nuttyness, and roasted malts. Medium bodied. Bottle marked E186.

500 ml green bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Very dark reddish brown colour, nearly black, nice brown head. LOVELY vinous aroma with oak, raisins, chocolate, roasted malts, liquorice, some coffee. The flavour has much of the same elements as the aroma, chocolate and sweet malts (but not too sweet) are in front. A roasty and hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Very full and rich mouthfeel. Blimey - this IS an excellent beer! LUVVERLY!

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear warm mahogany with a small, rough, off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon and roasted malt. Medium-bodied, hard roasted/burned malt dominate with a whiff of cinnamon in the finish. Distinct bitterness from the malt. OK, but quite odd. 040307

A clear orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with loads of wheat and light dusty hoppy notes. The flavor is sweet malty with a light touch of wheat. An OK beer, but boring compared to the rest of the St. Peters lineup.

Cask at Jerusalem Tavern, London. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is malty and fruity combined with an acidic note. The flavor is very acidic, though with some malt sweetness and caramel lingering in the background. I wonder where the acidity stems from.
